Three kinds of OE upper control arms
There are three kinds of OE upper control arms in 2014-2018 GM 1500s.

We just want to tell you that the main differences of these upper control arms are the ball joints.
Both of the 2014-2018 Sierra and Silverado have double wishbone suspensions. However, they differ in material and appearance, which is reflected in the upper & lower control arms and steering knuckle.
Although the front suspension is made of different materials, the structure of the suspension and the dimensions of each accessory are almost the same.
The steering knuckles used in the Stamped Steel and Aluminum versions are different from those used in the forged version, and therefore the diameter of the ball joint is also different, which means that the Silverado and Sierra, the twin models, are designed with two different sizes of ball joint pins.
